With a Topskipas, you can ski in the whole province of Carinthia. Ski tickets are available at the hotel reception. The area around the hotel is also ideal for sledding and winter hiking. Bad Kleinkircheim is famous for his thermal baths where you can fully relax and enjoy the peace.

Millstatt offers you fantastic possibilities for a varied ski holiday. The Mölltaler Glacier is only 35 kilometers away and is even open during the summer. Goldeck is the nearest mountain with only an 15 kilometers drive from the hotel. This local ski area offers possibilities for beginner and advanced wintersporters with the 8 kilometres long black slope as biggest challenge. Other nearby ski resorts are Katschberg and Innerkrems. Within walking distance of the hotel you can sledding, hiking or just enjoying the beautiful nature.

Thermal baths

Bad Kleinkirchheim is famous for his thermal baths. The ‘Gesundheitsangebot’ is of high standard: the two architectonic designed and spacious thermal baths are supplied by the warm water that contains radon. The source temperature is 36 degrees Celsius, which causes a comfortable bathing temperature between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius!

Lake Weissensee is the best alternative for the famous ‘Elfstedentocht’ in the Netherlands. Many Dutch ice skating fanatics are travelling to Lake Weissensee every year to join the ‘alternative Elfstedentocht’ with a total length of 200 kilometres. Lake Weissensee is only a 50 kilometres drive from Millstatt.
